Now hiring: we are hiring a bar bender and fixer in Pendleton County, West Virginia. Your main tasks: • Fix cover blocks and spacers to maintain concrete cover • Assemble column and beam cages on the bench • Check bar diameter, spacing and cover before the pour • Bend bars to shape on a bar bending machine • Form stirrups, links and hooks to the correct dimensions What we are looking for: • Sound knowledge of lap lengths, cover and bar spacing • Aware of concrete cover and tolerance requirements Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough. $3,500 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
