Quality checker wanted in Shelby County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a quality checker in Shelby County, Alabama. Day to day you will verify dimensions against the tolerance limits on the technical drawing; inspect welds, paint finish and surface defects under inspection lighting; check visually for scratches, dents, burrs and colour variation; operate height gauges, profile projectors and coordinate measuring tools. Ideal candidate: • ITI or diploma in a mechanical or production trade • Familiar with ISO 9001 quality systems Six days a week, one day off. Meals and transport allowance provided.
