Great opportunity: gas installation technician (Scotland)

Join our team: we are hiring a gas installation technician in City of Edinburgh, Scotland. You will work on residential and apartment building sites. Requirements: • Valid gas fitter's licence and Gas Safe (or local) registration • Comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces • Own hand tools and pipe wrenches Day to day you will complete gas safety certificates and label the finished installation; purge air from the lines and commission appliances to the correct gas rate; test combustion and flue gases with a flue gas analyser; fit flexible connection hoses and bayonet fittings to the appliances; read isometric drawings and mark out the pipe routes. Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
