Great opportunity: we are hiring a tig welder in Columbia County, Oregon. You should have: • Comfortable working to tight fit-up tolerances • Able to weld thin-gauge sheet without burn-through The role involves: • Run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints • Inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion • Set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator • Set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal Full-time with occasional weekends.
