Now hiring: we are hiring a crane operator in Fergus County, Montana. Requirements: • Valid crane operator licence or certificate (CPCS, NPORS or local equivalent) • Current medical and eyesight certificate Day-to-day duties: • Fit the counterweights and check the ground bearing pressure • Follow hand signals and radio calls from the banksman or slinger • Grease the slew ring and inspect the wire rope for broken strands • Set up the outriggers and level the crane on firm ground • Carry out pre-start checks on the crane, wire ropes and hook block • Help set out the lift plan and barrier off the exclusion zone Overtime paid at a premium rate. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
