We are recruiting: GMAW welder (North Carolina)

Great opportunity: we are hiring a GMAW welder in Carteret County, North Carolina. Day to day you will weld in flat, horizontal and vertical-up positions; tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing; lay stringer and weave beads on fillet and butt joints; maintain the torch liner, earth clamp and gas hose; bevel and grind the joint edges clean before welding; strike and hold a stable short-circuit or spray-transfer arc. You should have: • Knowledge of short-circuit and spray-transfer modes • Steady hand and good eyesight for tight tolerances • Able to pass a 3G/4G plate test 3+ years on the tools preferred.
