Milling machinist — Shelby County

Join our team: we are hiring a milling machinist in Shelby County, Illinois. What we are looking for: • 2-3 years' hands-on milling experience • Safety conscious and comfortable wearing PPE around moving machinery • Willing to work rotating shifts and night shift The role involves select and fit end mills, face mills and slot drills into collets and arbors; set up and operate vertical and horizontal milling machines; mount workpieces in machine vices, clamps and fixtures and check for square; keep in-process inspection records and log production counts; deburr and finish machined edges with files and emery; hold close tolerances down to ±0.02 mm. Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. Full-time with occasional weekends. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Contact us to fix an interview.
