Rebar fixer — Giles County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a rebar fixer in Giles County, Tennessee. You will be based on a commercial tower construction site. You should have: • Able to read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules • Comfortable working at height and in deep excavations • Proven experience as a steel fixer on building or civil sites Your main tasks: • Tie bar intersections with binding wire using a tie hook or pliers • Form stirrups, links and hooks to the correct dimensions • Install chairs and bar supports to hold up the top mat • Keep the rebar stacked, tagged and free of mud and loose rust • Fix cover blocks and spacers to maintain concrete cover • Bend bars to shape on a bar bending machine At least 6 year(s) in a similar role. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
