Join our team: we are hiring a blocklayer in Buffalo County, Wisconsin. The job is at a residential building site. You should have: • Physically fit for lifting bricks and blocks all day • Sound knowledge of mortar mixes and bonds (stretcher, English, Flemish) • Reliable timekeeping and able to hit daily brick targets The role involves cutting bricks to size with a bolster and club hammer or angle grinder; pointing and repointing weathered mortar joints; checking every course for height and level with a gauge rod; bedding in air bricks, weep holes and wall starters; mixing mortar to the right consistency with sand, cement and plasticiser; erecting and working off trestles and scaffold lifts. 2+ years on the tools preferred. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
