Urgent requirement: we are hiring a tig welder in Jack County, Texas. The role involves prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run; grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper; weld stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel in thin gauges; set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal; strike and hold a stable arc with a non-consumable tungsten electrode. Requirements: • Own basic hand tools and PPE • Steady hands and good close-up eyesight We offer $4,900 per month plus benefits. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Six days a week, one day off.
