Fire and safety officer • Ogu/Bolo Local Government Area, Rivers State

We are recruiting: we are hiring a fire and safety officer in Ogu/Bolo Local Government Area, Rivers State. You will be based on a high-rise building project. Ideal candidate: • Minimum 2-3 years on construction or factory sites • Valid first aid and basic firefighting training • Able to read and prepare RAMS and method statements The role involves: • Investigate near-misses and incidents and file root-cause reports • Run fire drills and check extinguishers, hydrants and alarm points • Update the risk register and method statements (RAMS) • Check PPE such as helmets, goggles, gloves and ear plugs and issue replacements Rotating shifts.
