Join our team: we are hiring a reinforcement steel fixer in Madison County, Idaho. The job is on a commercial tower construction site. You should have: • Confident tying with a tie hook and handling binding wire • Own basic tools such as pliers, tie hook, tape and level • Proven experience as a steel fixer on building or civil sites Your main tasks: • Keep the rebar stacked, tagged and free of mud and loose rust • Check bar diameter, spacing and cover before the pour • Tie bar intersections with binding wire using a tie hook or pliers • Form stirrups, links and hooks to the correct dimensions • Set out starter bars and column dowels for the next lift • Cut rebar to length with a bar cutter or angle grinder At least 6 year(s) in a similar role. $4,600 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
