Earthmoving plant operator • Menominee County, Michigan

Immediate opening: we are hiring an earthmoving plant operator in Menominee County, Michigan. You will be based on a busy construction site. Your main tasks: • Stockpile and spread material to the required levels • Level and grade the road sub-base to the surveyor's pegs and string lines • Carry out daily pre-start checks on engine oil, coolant, hydraulic fluid and track tension • Top up diesel, inspect hydraulic hoses for leaks and report defects • Excavate trenches and foundations to the marked depths and grade levels Ideal candidate: • Willing to work at remote sites and mines on a roster • Able to operate excavator, loader and dozer confidently Six days a week, one day off.
