Port container crane operator • Marion County, Kansas

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a port container crane operator in Marion County, Kansas. You will be based in a steel fabrication workshop. Day to day you will read and interpret the load chart before every lift; keep every lift within the safe working load (SWL); park up the crane, stow the jib and isolate at end of shift; hoist, slew and lower loads smoothly and under control; help set out the lift plan and barrier off the exclusion zone; set up the outriggers and level the crane on firm ground. Ideal candidate: • Valid crane operator licence or certificate (CPCS, NPORS or local equivalent) • A good head for heights for tower crane work • Physically fit to climb ladders and work long shifts Part-time with flexible hours.
