Road roller operator wanted in Western Connecticut Planning Region

Immediate opening: we are hiring a road roller operator in Western Connecticut Planning Region, Connecticut. What we are looking for: • Willing to work at remote sites and mines on a roster • Comfortable working long shifts in dust, heat and noise The role involves: • Operate the boom, stick and bucket to dig, lift and place material • Top up diesel, inspect hydraulic hoses for leaks and report defects • Keep a safe distance from excavation edges and overhead lines • Excavate trenches and foundations to the marked depths and grade levels • Work in coordination with the banksman and ground crew on signals 3+ years on the tools preferred. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
