Immediate opening: machinist (Wisconsin)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a machinist in Juneau County, Wisconsin. The job is at a busy garment factory. What we are looking for: • ITI / tailoring certificate is a plus • Good eyesight and steady hands for fine, accurate stitching • Able to read a spec sheet and follow a sewing operation breakdown Day to day you will sew bartacks and buttonholes and attach buttons where required; topstitch and edge-stitch with the correct margin for a clean finish; clear thread jams, re-time the looper and oil the machine before the shift; set armholes and sleeves, easing the cap so there are no puckers; meet the hourly piece-rate target without dropping quality. 2+ years on the tools preferred. $3,900 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
