Garden maintenance worker • Boone County, Indiana

Immediate opening: we are hiring a garden maintenance worker in Boone County, Indiana. On the job you will handle: • Operate strimmers, leaf blowers and brush cutters • Apply fertiliser, compost and mulch to beds • Prune hedges, shrubs and ornamental trees with secateurs and hedge trimmers • Lay turf and oversow bare patches of lawn • Sharpen, clean and oil hand tools and mower blades Requirements: • Understanding of pruning and watering schedules • Physically fit for bending, lifting and long hours outdoors • Pesticide spraying certificate (PA1/PA6) an advantage Overtime paid at a premium rate. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
