Ideal candidate: • Proficient with micrometers, vernier callipers and dial gauges • Physically fit to stand and lift workpieces Day to day you will keep in-process inspection records and log production counts; set up and operate vertical and horizontal milling machines; set tool offsets and the work zero (G54) using an edge finder or probe; measure features with vernier callipers, micrometers and bore gauges; set spindle speeds and feed rates to suit the material and cutter.
