Machine operator (earthworks) • District of Rutland, England

Vacancy available: we are hiring a machine operator (earthworks) in District of Rutland, England. You will work at a road and highway construction project. The role involves: • Backfill trenches and compact the fill in layers • Swap buckets and attachments — rock breaker, grab, ripper, auger • Strip and stockpile topsoil ready for reuse • Dig foundation trenches and footings to the marked depths and levels • Work to laser, GPS or 2D/3D machine-control guidance Ideal candidate: • Own PPE — safety boots, hi-vis and hard hat • Confident working to fine grade and tight tolerances • Reliable, punctual and able to get to site Full-time with occasional weekends.
