Now hiring: fitter on the line (Texas)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a fitter on the line in Limestone County, Texas. You will work in a packaging and assembly workshop. Requirements: • Willing to work rotating day and night shifts • Minimum 10th pass or ITI is an advantage • Punctual with reliable attendance On the job you will handle: • Tighten fasteners to the specified torque using a power screwdriver or torque wrench • Keep pace with the takt time and pass the unit to the next station • Snap-fit plastic housings and clip in the wiring harnesses • Report jams or tool faults to the line leader straight away • Solder small connectors and check the joints under a magnifier • Carry out a visual quality check for scratches, gaps and missing parts Overtime paid at a premium rate.
