Now hiring: we are hiring a quality control inspector in Knott County, Kentucky. You will be based in a metal fabrication workshop. Ideal candidate: • Prior experience as a QC inspector in manufacturing • Good eyesight and colour vision for visual inspection • Strong attention to detail and accurate record-keeping Day-to-day duties: • Carry out first-article and in-process checks on the production line • Verify dimensions against the tolerance limits on the technical drawing • Escalate recurring defects to the line supervisor or QA engineer • Operate height gauges, profile projectors and coordinate measuring tools • Raise non-conformance reports and tag rejected batches • Compare components against approved samples and engineering drawings At least 5 year(s) in a similar role. Six days a week, one day off. We offer $4,500 per month plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
