Thermal insulation technician • Saint Charles County, Missouri

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a thermal insulation technician in Saint Charles County, Missouri. What we are looking for: • Physically fit, able to lift and carry boards and rolls • Proven experience in thermal insulation and waterproofing • Working-at-height certificate an advantage The role involves: • Install vapour barriers and seal all joints and overlaps with tape • Work to drawings, hitting the specified U-values and insulation thickness • Fit acoustic insulation to partition walls and floating floors • Measure and cut insulation boards neatly around pipes, ducts and openings • Carry out flood and water tests on waterproofed areas to check for leaks • Wrap HVAC ducts with foil-faced insulation and fasten with banding Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
