Join our team: we are hiring a bricklayer in City of Williamsburg, Virginia. You will work on a busy housing site. What we are looking for: • NVQ Level 2 in Bricklaying an advantage • Able to read construction drawings and setting-out marks • CSCS card or willingness to obtain one You will cutting bricks to size with a bolster and club hammer or angle grinder; forming arches, piers and reveals around openings; brushing the wall down and removing mortar snots as you go; setting out walls from the drawings and marking the brick gauge; building cavity walls and bedding in wall ties and insulation; buttering the perpends and tapping each brick down to the gauge. 3+ years on the tools preferred. Part-time with flexible hours. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Pay around $3,600 per month, based on your experience. Share your details and we will call you back.
