D6/D8 dozer operator — Monmouthshire

Great opportunity: we are hiring a D6/D8 dozer operator in Monmouthshire, Wales. You will be based at an open-cast mine. The role involves grade and level subgrade for roads, pads and platforms; cut and fill ground to the levels marked on the grade stakes; strip topsoil and stockpile it for later reuse; backfill trenches and foundations once services are laid; refuel the machine and record running hours; push-load motor scrapers during bulk earthmoving. Requirements: • Comfortable working long shifts in dust, heat and uneven terrain • Safety awareness around banksmen, trucks and other plant • Knowledge of daily greasing and pre-start inspections At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
