Reinforcement fitter — Sumner County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a reinforcement fitter in Sumner County, Tennessee. You will work on a busy residential building site. You should have: • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long spells bending and kneeling • Proven experience as a steel fixer on building or civil sites Your main tasks: • Install chairs and bar supports to hold up the top mat • Fit mechanical couplers where shown on the drawings • Lay and tie mesh for slabs and ground-bearing floors • Read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules • Place main bars and distribution bars to the marked spacing • Cut rebar to length with a bar cutter or angle grinder Six days a week, one day off.
