Vacancy available: we are hiring a CNC mill setter-operator in Rice County, Kansas. The job is in a die and mould making unit. What we are looking for: • Safety conscious and comfortable wearing PPE around moving machinery • Knows feeds, speeds and tooling for steel, aluminium and cast iron • Physically fit to stand and lift workpieces The role involves monitor tool wear and change blunt inserts and cutters; keep in-process inspection records and log production counts; run first-off parts and check dimensions before batch production; measure features with vernier callipers, micrometers and bore gauges; mount workpieces in machine vices, clamps and fixtures and check for square.
