Deboner — Lake and Peninsula Borough

Join our team: we are hiring a deboner in Lake and Peninsula Borough, Alaska. You will be based at a wholesale meat market. Day-to-day duties: • Monitor chiller and freezer temperatures to keep the cold chain • Vacuum-pack and wrap customer orders • Sharpen and hone knives on a steel and whetstone • Season and marinate meat on request • Mince meat and prepare keema on the grinder What we are looking for: • Physically fit to lift carcasses and stand all day • Clean, presentable and friendly at the counter 2+ years on the tools preferred. Pay around $2,600 per month, based on your experience. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
