Stainless steel welder wanted in Saint Helena Parish

Now hiring: we are hiring a stainless steel welder in Saint Helena Parish, Louisiana. You will work in a pharmaceutical piping facility. The role involves weld in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions; set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator; clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding; select the tungsten type and gas cup size to suit the job; control heat input so thin sheet does not warp; inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion. Requirements: • Valid welder certification (ASME IX / ISO 9606 an advantage) • Able to weld thin-gauge sheet without burn-through 1+ years on the tools preferred.
