GTAW welder — Wells County

Join our team: we are hiring a GTAW welder in Wells County, Indiana. You will be based in a sheet-metal fabrication unit. What we are looking for: • Able to pass a weld test on the spot • ITI or trade certificate in welding an advantage Day-to-day duties: • Tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run • Feed filler rod by hand while holding a steady weld pool • Read welding symbols and joint details off the fabrication drawing • Inspect welds visually for porosity, cracks and undercut • Run butt, fillet, lap and corner joints to spec • Strike the arc with high-frequency start and control heat with the foot pedal 5+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time, day shift. Performance bonus on top of base pay. $2,900 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Contact us to fix an interview.
