Precision welder wanted in Northampton County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a precision welder in Northampton County, Virginia. You will work at a precision engineering workshop. Requirements: • Proven experience with TIG/GTAW on stainless and aluminium • Able to pass a practical weld test on the first day You will strike and hold a stable arc with a non-consumable tungsten electrode; set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal; grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper; read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters; select the tungsten type and gas cup size to suit the job; weld in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions. 5+ years on the tools preferred.
