Great opportunity: we are hiring a machine setter-operator in West Carroll Parish, Louisiana. You will be based in a CNC machine shop. Requirements: • 1-2 years' experience operating production machinery • Good attention to detail and steady hands Day to day you will clear jams and remove rejected parts from the line; top up coolant, lubricant and hydraulic oil levels; record output, scrap and downtime on the production sheet; key in cycle parameters such as speed, feed rate and temperature; measure parts with vernier calliper, micrometer and go/no-go gauges. 6+ years on the tools preferred.
