Great opportunity: we are hiring a panel painter in Tyler County, Texas. The job is in an automotive paint and panel workshop. Requirements: • Sound knowledge of 2K paints, primers and hardeners • Confident with wet-sanding and machine polishing You will mask off trim, glass and rubber seals with tape and paper; apply primer, base coat and clear coat with an HVLP spray gun; wet-sand and buff out runs, orange peel and dust nibs; prime and seal bare metal to stop rust; mix and tint paint to match the customer's colour code; sand and feather-edge damaged panels before painting. Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough. Six days a week, one day off. Pay around $4,400 per month, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
