Garden maintenance worker — Westmoreland County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a garden maintenance worker in Westmoreland County, Virginia. You will be based at a landscaping company. The role involves: • Rake up fallen leaves, grass clippings and garden waste • Prune hedges, shrubs and ornamental trees with secateurs and hedge trimmers • Plant seasonal bedding plants, bulbs and saplings • Dig over and turn the soil and prepare seedbeds • Mow and edge lawns with petrol and ride-on mowers What we are looking for: • Good knowledge of common plants, shrubs and seasonal planting • Able to safely operate mowers, strimmers and hedge trimmers • Valid driving licence for travel between sites 3+ years on the tools preferred.
