Join our team: we are hiring a moulder in Lawrence County, South Dakota. Day to day you will check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring; prepare green-sand moulds and ram the sand into the moulding boxes; shot-blast castings to clean off burnt sand and scale; mix and recondition moulding sand to the right moisture; make and bake sand cores for the internal cavities; apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity. You should have: • Understanding of safe slinging and crane-ladle signalling • Keen eye for casting defects during inspection • Able to read simple casting drawings and job cards 1+ years on the tools preferred.
