Bodywork technician • Elkhart County, Indiana

We are recruiting: we are hiring a bodywork technician in Elkhart County, Indiana. You will be based at a busy body shop. What we are looking for: • Able to set up and use a frame/jig straightening bench • Own basic hand tools (hammers, dollies, files) • Attention to detail and a clean, even finish Day to day you will mask off glass, rubbers and trim before painting; treat rust, apply seam sealer and underbody protection; check alignment with measuring gauges after a structural pull; shrink stretched and oil-canned metal with a shrinking hammer; feather-edge old paint and prime bare metal before respray. $3,800 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
