Meat trimmer — Rockingham County

Join our team: we are hiring a meat trimmer in Rockingham County, North Carolina. You should have: • Able to use a band saw, grinder and sausage filler • 2+ years experience working as a butcher • Able to identify primal cuts of beef, mutton and poultry The role involves: • Break down beef, mutton and chicken carcasses into primal cuts • Run the band saw to cut cleanly through bone • Dress the chilled counter and rotate stock by date • Trim fat, sinew and silver skin off the cuts Full-time with occasional weekends. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Pay around $4,100 per month, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
