Stainless steel welder — Ramsey County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a stainless steel welder in Ramsey County, Minnesota. The job is on a structural steel site. What we are looking for: • Can read fabrication drawings and welding symbols • Steady hand and good hand-eye coordination Day-to-day duties: • Clean joints with acetone and a dedicated stainless wire brush • Run butt, fillet, lap and corner joints to spec • Feed filler rod by hand while holding a steady weld pool • Weld thin stainless steel sheet without burning through • Sharpen tungsten electrodes and fit the correct gas cup size • Grind, blend and polish finished welds to a clean finish We offer $2,700 per month plus benefits.
