Great opportunity: we are hiring a marble fitter in Montgomery County, Maryland. The job is in a natural stone fabrication unit. You will lift and handle heavy slabs safely using suction lifters and trolleys; fill cracks, chips and open veins with colour-matched epoxy resin; cut out sink and hob openings in worktops on site; polish stone surfaces to a high gloss using diamond pads and polishing compound; fix marble cladding to building facades with anchors and clamps; cut marble and granite slabs on a bridge saw with diamond blades. Requirements: • Reliable timekeeping and able to work in a team • Knowledge of epoxy resin filling and colour matching • 2+ years' experience working with marble, granite and natural stone 1+ years on the tools preferred.
