What we are looking for: • Good eyesight for fine sheet-metal work • Sound knowledge of argon gas settings and tungsten selection Your main tasks: • Keep the arc length and travel speed consistent • Inspect welds visually for porosity, cracks and undercut • Clamp and fit up components on the jig before welding • Weld thin stainless steel sheet without burning through • Strike the arc with high-frequency start and control heat with the foot pedal • Select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
