Great opportunity: conventional mill operator (Indiana)

Vacancy available: we are hiring a conventional mill operator in Sullivan County, Indiana. You will work in a die and mould making unit. Requirements: • Knows feeds, speeds and tooling for steel, aluminium and cast iron • Physically fit to stand and lift workpieces On a typical shift you will deburr and finish machined edges with files and emery; monitor tool wear and change blunt inserts and cutters; set spindle speeds and feed rates to suit the material and cutter; mount workpieces in machine vices, clamps and fixtures and check for square; set up and operate vertical and horizontal milling machines. Part-time with flexible hours. Overtime paid at a premium rate. We offer $3,600 per month plus benefits. Contact us to fix an interview.
