Crane operator wanted in Renfrewshire

Now hiring: we are hiring a crane operator in Renfrewshire, Scotland. You will work in a steel fabrication workshop. You should have: • Valid crane operator licence or certificate (CPCS, NPORS or local equivalent) • Physically fit to climb ladders and work long shifts Day to day you will fit the counterweights and check the ground bearing pressure; park up the crane, stow the jib and isolate at end of shift; hoist, slew and lower loads smoothly and under control; work out the load weight and the lifting radius; carry out pre-start checks on the crane, wire ropes and hook block. 5+ years on the tools preferred.
