Incoming goods inspector — Macoupin County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring an incoming goods inspector in Macoupin County, Illinois. The job is in an electronics assembly workshop. The role involves: • Segregate and quarantine defective or out-of-tolerance items • Log batch numbers, lot codes and traceability data • Raise non-conformance reports and tag rejected batches • Operate height gauges, profile projectors and coordinate measuring tools • Verify dimensions against the tolerance limits on the technical drawing • Record measurements on inspection sheets and SPC charts Requirements: • Confident using vernier callipers, micrometers and gauges • Good eyesight and colour vision for visual inspection • Able to stand for full shifts on the production floor $3,800 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Meals and transport allowance provided. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
