Argon arc welder wanted in Hunterdon County

Vacancy available: we are hiring an argon arc welder in Hunterdon County, New Jersey. On the job you will handle: • Select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel • Tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run • Read welding symbols and joint details off the fabrication drawing • Sharpen tungsten electrodes and fit the correct gas cup size • Strike the arc with high-frequency start and control heat with the foot pedal • Clamp and fit up components on the jig before welding What we are looking for: • 2+ years' hands-on experience with argon/TIG welding • Good eyesight for fine sheet-metal work • Able to pass a weld test on the spot 5+ years on the tools preferred.
