Argon arc welder wanted in Fannin County

Join our team: we are hiring an argon arc welder in Fannin County, Texas. You will work in a sheet-metal fabrication unit. Day to day you will grind, blend and polish finished welds to a clean finish; set the argon flow on the flowmeter and check the hose for leaks; clean joints with acetone and a dedicated stainless wire brush; select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel; inspect welds visually for porosity, cracks and undercut; read welding symbols and joint details off the fabrication drawing. What we are looking for: • Can read fabrication drawings and welding symbols • Comfortable working off scaffolds and in tight spaces Rotating shifts. Performance bonus on top of base pay.
