Cold room technician — Leelanau County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a cold room technician in Leelanau County, Michigan. The job is in a commercial cold storage facility. The role involves: • Trace leaks with an electronic detector and soap solution • Trace electrical circuits with a multimeter • Fault-find control boards and defrost timers • Pull a vacuum on the system and check for trapped moisture • Braze copper pipework and joints with an oxy-acetylene torch • Service split AC units and VRF systems You should have: • Own a set of hand tools and a gauge manifold • Available on-call and at weekends for breakdowns • Able to read wiring diagrams and pressure-temperature charts 2+ years on the tools preferred. $4,300 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
