Vacancy available: we are hiring a pipe tig welder in Baxter County, Arkansas. Ideal candidate: • Steady hands and good close-up eyesight • Able to read isometric and fabrication drawings Day-to-day duties: • Carry out 6G pipe welds where required • Back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring) • Read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters • Grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper • Weld in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions • Weld stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel in thin gauges Full-time with occasional weekends.
