Urgent requirement: we are hiring an argon arc welder in Talladega County, Alabama. The job is at a busy fabrication workshop. On the job you will handle: • Grind, blend and polish finished welds to a clean finish • TIG weld aluminium sections after cleaning off the oxide layer • Select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel • Strike the arc with high-frequency start and control heat with the foot pedal • Set the argon flow on the flowmeter and check the hose for leaks Ideal candidate: • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety • Steady hand and good hand-eye coordination • Can read fabrication drawings and welding symbols We offer $4,900 per month plus benefits.
