Refrigeration field service technician wanted in Saint Tammany Parish

Vacancy available: we are hiring a refrigeration field service technician in Saint Tammany Parish, Louisiana. You will be based in an AC and refrigeration showroom. Ideal candidate: • Comfortable handling refrigerant gases and gauge manifolds • Able to read wiring diagrams and pressure-temperature charts • Able to braze copper and silver-solder joints Your main tasks: • Measure the compressor motor's amperage draw with a clamp meter • Check oil level and top up or change the compressor oil • Fault-find control boards and defrost timers • Wire up thermostats, contactors and overload relays At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
