Immediate opening: ladle pourer (Georgia)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a ladle pourer in Walker County, Georgia. The job is at an aluminium die-casting plant. On a typical shift you will check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring; melt scrap metal and ingots in induction or cupola furnaces; tap the furnace and transfer the metal to the ladle; skim slag and dross off the melt before tapping and pouring; fettle and grind castings to remove flash and rough edges; shot-blast castings to clean off burnt sand and scale. Requirements: • Experience working in a ferrous or non-ferrous foundry • Physically fit to lift heavy moulding boxes and castings Part-time with flexible hours. Meals and transport allowance provided. Walk-in interviews this week.
