Great opportunity: we are hiring a 360 excavator operator in Shelby County, Illinois. Ideal candidate: • Reliable, punctual and able to get to site • Own PPE — safety boots, hi-vis and hard hat The role involves carry out daily greasing and check hydraulic oil, coolant and fuel levels; dig and trim drainage channels and attenuation ponds; work safely around buried services with a banksman or spotter; dig foundation trenches and footings to the marked depths and levels; strip and stockpile topsoil ready for reuse; clear sites, demolish structures and load out muck and rubble. 4+ years on the tools preferred. Six days a week, one day off. $31 per hour, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
